BambaDura

Bambacore Organic Plastic Composites – Made to Endure

Spectadur and Biodur grades are sustainable, durable polymers. The material reduces the use of traditional plastics by using up to 50 weight-% of natural bio-content as reinforcement or filler.

Spectadur grades are reinforced with bamboo fibres, rice husk and wheat straw/husk. Biodur grades are blend with biopolymers, starch or filled with mineral fillers.

Materials are delivered as bio-compounds suitable for injection and extrusion moulding and as sheets suitable for compression moulding and  thermoforming. To suit different product needs, we have grades with varying mechanical, thermal and processing properties. All grades are ready-to-use feedstock moulding grades (delivered as compounds) or thermforming/compression moulding grades (delivered as sheets, glossy finish, available in sizes up to 2.00 m (in extrusion direction) to 1.30 m (perpendicular), thickness of 0.6 mm to 2.5 mm).

Bambacore fibre compounds (pellets/granules) are suitable for injection and extrusion moulding that are engineered to deliver high performance. To suit different product needs, we have grades with varying mechanical, thermal and processing properties. All grades are ready to use feedstock for moulding.

Bambacore sheets are suitable for compression moulding and thermoforming. Sheets are delivered with glossy finish of sizes up to 2.00m (in extrusion direction) to 1.30 m (perpendicular), and thickness of 0.6mm to 2.5mm.
